The results actually suprise even myself. I didn't fully appreciate how much I took from the Eastern religions I studied in philosophy courses at UVA.
Obviously, as a person whose worldview is based on reason, I don't go in for the reincarnation claptrap, but I do think the problem of suffering is a correct point of focus. Its no coincidence that faiths as disparate as Buddism and Catholicism have zeroed in on it.
And the meditative state is as close to real magic as any religion comes. If you believe that a deep prayer can essentially become a meditative state, this is a principle that most of humanity follows.

Ostensibly about US Marshal Raylan Givens returning to his hometown of Harlan County, it develops a shadow narrative with the charismatic criminal genius Boyd Crowder, a sometimes neo-nazi, sometimes revivalist preacher, as the main character.
Raylan and Boyd are spiritually connected because they mined coal together in their youth and, at different points, loved the same woman.
I've really become enamored by the work of Walton Goggins, who plays Boyd. He almost exclusively plays Southern characters and demanded that his neo-nazi character would not be a dumb yokel caricature which denigrates his culture before agreeing to take the part. By the end of the show, he has basically become a hillbilly Billy the Kid.

I do not want to be subject to a Washington DC or Charlottesville style political persecution anytime I, God forbid, have to step into court.
Back in VA, I had Antifas coming to my house and my family's house. Yet, there is no way a left-wing judge would ever recognize my right to self defense.
I doubt anyone would ever come after me here, and I take reasonable OPSEC precautions, but it would be a fatal mistake for anyone to look for trouble with me here.

The point is bigger than gender politics anyway. I don't believe that all white men are "good and perfect". Actions do matter. Actions are how we determine the "good ones" in a race and who are going to pose a danger.
And yes, you do need a screening process for white people as well as brown.
Quite apart from racial politics at all, any stranger could be a bad person.
Talking about the real world here, but what do I know. I'm just a small business owner who has worked with every race and knows all their pros and cons in general heuristic calculus.
