Well, technically, Lent ends this evening at sundown. Locally in Ireland that is around 8 to 8.30. One final push to offer up sacrifices to Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Easter season is upon us, and Our Lord's passion offers us all the time to reflect on Him and how we can get closer to Him. As sinners, all of us, we have the signpost to salvation and it is a cross, or rather the man/God on it. We all fall short but we suggest using these days to contemplate about where we stand in relation to Christ and the Church He founded. When our time comes, and we are to be judged, we will be assessed on what we did and didn't do in the face of evil. We won't be judged what is out of our control, but what is, individually or as part of a collective. For those things we have no individual power to change towards the good, we might if we act as a group as well as individually. The key is knowing the difference. Christ is King!!
