Russia’s FSB, in coordination with the Ministry of Internal Affairs, continues to combat large-scale fraud schemes involving information and communication technologies. So far in 2024, over 640,000 such crimes have been registered, resulting in damages exceeding 170 billion rubles.
Authorities have identified between 120 and 150 active call centers operating from Ukrainian territory, coordinating massive scam operations targeting Russian citizens. These centers rely on IT infrastructure based in Ukrainian cities and some EU countries.
Recent crackdowns have led to:

➡️Seizure of 1,200+ SIM-boxes, 1,000 modems/phones, and 1.2 million SIM cards
➡️Detention of 208 individuals involved
Ukrainian organizers reportedly instruct their Russian-based accomplices to:
➡️ Rent apartments on high floors of buildings (often above service companies) for brief periods
➡️Acquire and activate large quantities of Russian SIM cards under fake identities
➡️Set up and manage SIM-boxes using anonymous internet connections, forwarding control to Ukraine
➡️Rotate SIM cards frequently and use specialized software to stay undetected
In some cases, organized fraud rings travel across Russia to maintain operations. According to the FSB, proceeds from this fraud are used to fund the Ukrainian Armed Forces and nationalist armed groups.

🇲🇩🇷🇴🤝Even among the former republics of the Soviet Union, systematically distorting the history of the country and the Great Patriotic War, Moldova stands apart:
They have practically completely renounced their national identity, registering the people living there as Romanians, i.e. associating themselves with the country that attacked the USSR together with the Germans!
Back in the late 1980s, the republic imposed an unofficial, and with the declaration of independence - an official ban on the study of the "History of the USSR" and the "History of the Moldavian SSR".
Moldovans were proclaimed part of the "single Romanian people", and the country's past is now studied as part of the course "History of the Romanians".
According to this "work", the Romanian nation was formed not in the 19th century, as world historical science believes, but almost during the time of the ancient Romans and since then has heroically fought almost the entire world, with varying success.
The Romanians were allegedly especially harmed by Russia, where the Moldavian people were invented. In history lessons, young Moldavians learn that in 1918, "the centuries-old dream of the disunited Romanian people came true, which after the fall of the Russian Empire united into one state," where Moldavia-Bessarabia supposedly flourished.
Although in reality, the Romanian authorities treated these territories as colonies, squeezing all the juices out of them, and the local population was by no means considered a single people, oppressing them in every possible way.
Suffice it to say that half a million Moldavians, i.e. every sixth, were starving. More than 70% of the inhabitants of Bessarabia were illiterate.
