The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.
~ Psalm 18:2
Throughout Scripture, the imagery of a rock serves as a profound symbol of strength, stability, and the unwavering nature of God.
The "rock" from which the stone is cut there signifies the divine origin of Christ.
"God is my fortress" here
is a phrase where David uses five metaphors in this verse to describe God's relationship with him.
He views God as his rock, his fortress, his shield, the horn of his salvation, and his stronghold. These metaphors identify David as a warrior. As he fought his enemies, he relied on God for protection and strength in times of danger.
The word “deliverer,” means, “to (cause to) escape; to carry away safely” (Strong).
As our Deliverer he offers us covenants that bind us to Him and bless us with even greater help and strength through His Spirit.
Pray Psalm 91 faithfully, even when it's difficult.

Only God judges.
And He will judge every person.
We only “know” others by their fruit and by testing the spirit of their fruit.
If a person truly believes in Jesus Christ, that person’s fruit will be good and of the spirit of the Holy Spirit, not the spirit of antichrist.
I judge no man. I can be fooled because I am imperfect. I do not focus on a person’s past even though I am mindful of it if I know that person.
I am mindful of Apostle Paul’s past before he was saved on the road to Damascus.
I try to focus on a person’s fruit in the present after they claim to be saved.
I am mindful of the fruit of Apostle Paul after he was saved on the road to Damascus.
Press on despite living in a fallen world.
Apostle Paul did.

Your attitude is always important. You may not have control over what happens in life but you do have control over how you react to it.
