In these times of turmoil and uncertainty, I turn to You for peace and strength.
The world around me may be in chaos, but I seek refuge in Your unchanging nature.
You are my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer.
In the midst of confusion and fear, I cling to Your promises of hope and protection.
Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change and the courage to change the things I can.
In the face of adversity, help me to remember that You are sovereign, and nothing happens outside of Your control.
Strengthen my faith and trust in You, even when the path ahead is unclear.

A Prayer for Israel
Protect the government, those that are in the armed forces and those that are living in vulnerable places in the land and I pray for that day when Israel as a nation will turn back to seek Your face and come to recognise Jesus Christ as their God and Saviour.
Father, I pray for the day when peace comes at last to that land, when Christ returns in power and great glory to set up his kingdom.
In Jesus' name,
Amen.

THE TIME OF JACOB'S TROUBLE...
(THE TRIBULATION)
The time of Jacob’s trouble demonstrates that God keeps His promises, judges sin, and saves those who trust in Christ.
In the end times, God will pour His judgment on a wicked world, and this seven-year tribulation, from Israel’s point of view, is the time of Jacob’s trouble.
In this time, God purges His chosen people of the wicked and unbelieving, but “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved; for on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there will be deliverance, as the Lord has said, even among the survivors whom the Lord calls” (Joel 2:32);( Romans 10:13).
Many who come to Christ during this time after the Rapture will face persecution and death but will be eternally saved.
They are the Tribulation Saints.
After that time of Jacob’s trouble is a time of peace, as the Lord Himself sets up His kingdom on earth for 1,000 years (Revelation 20: 1-6),; (Isaiah 11)

I do thank Your for the gift of sleep and the opportunity for our bodies to be renewed and our souls to be refreshed during these quiet hours of the night.
As bedtime draws nearer, I just want to thank You for the benefits of sleep You have given us and ask that You would give me Your beloved sleep tonight.
As I settle down for the night I ask and pray that I would soon fall asleep, but first I want to hand all my cares and worries over to You.
For You have promised to carry our burdens, if we will simply lay them down at Your feet.
