In 2025, students who have interrupted their studies abroad due to the unfriendly actions of foreign countries will be able to take the SFC (GIA in Russian — State final certification) on preferential terms.
This applies to two categories: graduates who have enrolled in educational institutions since 2021/22 (for example, citizens of foreign countries who arrived in Russia from unfriendly countries), and those who studied abroad under Russian programs (including remotely).
They will be able to choose between intermediate certification and standard forms of GIA (MSE — mandatory state exam, or OGE in Russian, and SFE — State Final Examination, or GVE up to 9th grade and USE (Unified State Exam, or EGE in Russian), GVE for 11th grade). This measure is similar to those applied in the previous three years.
