Protect Democracy: No to the New Protest Laws! Sydney Town Hall.
17 February 2025.
I got hassled by 3 different people tonight.
Kind of an odd thing to do to a person there recording the protest at a protest that is protesting tighter laws being applied to protests.
Go figure.
There were so many cops there tonight. And just a little agitation at the end when the “Queers for Palestine” faced down the thin blue line.
This protest was put on by The NSW Council for Civil Liberties.

Candlelight Vigil for Palestine & Lebanon. Sydney Town Hall. 7 October 2024.

"It may be your last chance to protest against anything ever again.
For if Labor’s Misinformation & Disinformation (MAD) Bill was in place now, they could demand posts such as this be censorsed.
Spread the message, and bring half a dozen friends."
Sydney Protest would also like to invite those that stand for Palestine, Israel, Ukraine, Iran etc, etc, etc, to come and stand for Australia. To come and stand for your own freedom for once. Or enjoy that boot stamping on your face forever!

Save Free Speech Rally. Stop Albo’s Misinformation and Disinformation Bill. Speakers Corner Sydney Domain. 28 September 2024.
A "Smoking Ceremony" was held at Yesterdays Mis/Dis Info Protest. "Burn the Bill" was chanted loudly as the Bill was ceremonially burned and its ashes scattered on the hallowed ground of free speech in Sydney, Speakers Corner.
The time to act is now. You need to have your submission in by this Tuesday.

NSW Midwives and Nurses Solidarity Action Against Hate Speech. Martin Place. Sydney. 13 February 2025.
This was originally going to be a Picket of Parliament.
They wrote on their Facebook page that the event was postponed in the light of Yesterdays events. And that the picket would be rescheduled. There would still be an action taking place today and it would be a solidarity action against hate speech.
