Visiting Ali Akbar (AS): A Lesson in Faith and Sacrifice 🕊️✨
As revealed by Imam Hussain (AS) in his narration, Ali Akbar (AS) was a true reflection of the Prophet's (PBUH) behavior and character. Imam Hussain (AS) introduced his beloved son as a shining example of the Prophet’s virtues, and made it clear to the people that those in the Umayyad dynasty and their followers were responsible for the murder of such a noble soul in Karbala for the sake of power.
Therefore, the personality and actions of Ali Akbar (AS) must be studied within the context of the Prophet’s (PBUH) life, as we learn deep, spiritual lessons from this connection.
"Ali Akbar (AS) in the Karbala Tragedy"
Ali Akbar (AS) was a devoted soldier at his father's side; a young, noble man with a kind heart, guarding the sanctity of the Ahl al-Bayt. Along with his uncle, Abbas, he frequently went to the river to fetch water for the tents. He also served as the vanguard of Imam Hussain's (AS) army. In some historical accounts, he is said to have been the muezzin of the Imam’s caravan, calling the adhan at prayer time under his father’s command. On Ashura, Imam Hussain (AS) sent Ali Akbar (AS) into battle as the first martyr from the Hashemite family. He fought valiantly but was ultimately surrounded by the enemy, wounded, and martyred.
"Lessons from the Personality of Ali Akbar (AS)"
Creating role models for the youth is a vital cultural responsibility. We must focus on introducing religious figures and heroes to young people so they are not misled by false idols and distorted characters. Understanding the character of Ali Akbar (AS) is essential before he can become a role model. Therefore, the first step is to truly understand his personality. Additionally, to gain a full understanding of Ali Akbar (AS), we should also refer to the Quran, as some narrations indicate that the noble character of the Prophet (PBUH) is a manifestation of the Quran itself.
The presence of Ali Akbar (AS) in Karbala, alongside his father, Imam Hussain (AS), symbolizes the path of true Islam—the path of Imamate. The falsehood lies in the way of those who claimed the caliphate and followed the Saqifah. Imam Hussain (AS) made it clear that throughout history, power-hungry individuals have killed the truth and captured those who stand for it in the name of worldly gains.
Once the youth understand Ali Akbar’s (AS) character, they can follow his example by dedicating their lives to defending the faith and the Imamate, just as he did. His life teaches us about freedom, spiritual growth, sacrifice, loyalty, respect for one's father, and the recognition of one’s place in life.
We commemorate this day as Youth Day, encouraging the youth to continue the legacy of Ali Akbar (AS)—the hero of Ashura. Ali Akbar is not only a part of the movement but a cornerstone of it.

Tania Poling: Islam Gave Meaning to My Life
📍 Reported by Rahyafte: The following is an interview with a German woman who embraced Islam. Tania Poling was born into a Christian family in Hamburg. Her perspective on Islam is fascinating, and she attributes her newfound vitality to discovering the faith.
🔹 A Turning Point
Tania Poling, a young woman from Hamburg, radiates energy and contentment. She credits her inner peace and fulfillment to Islam.
"I lived in a relatively affluent family and seemed to have everything on the surface. I had many friends and would go out with them after work. Yet, despite being in a crowd, I constantly felt lost and empty. I didn't even understand what I was searching for, which made me anxious."
One day, while shopping with friends, she encountered a Muslim woman wearing hijab. "We arrogantly mocked her appearance, and I told her, 'What kind of look is this?' I expected her to be embarrassed, but she confidently responded, 'And what kind of look is this that you've chosen for yourself?'"
The conversation took an unexpected turn. Instead of feeling defensive, the Muslim woman explained that modesty is a sign of inner peace, whereas immodesty often reflects inner turmoil. "At that moment, I rejected everything she said, but her presence and confidence stayed with me. I kept thinking about her for days."
This encounter sparked curiosity, leading Tania to visit the Imam Ali Mosque in Hamburg. "I was astonished to see people of different nationalities, including Germans, practicing Islam. I realized Islam wasn’t just an Eastern religion—many Europeans had embraced it."
What touched her most was the warmth and sense of unity among Muslims. "I compared my life with theirs. We in the West claim to have friends, family, and social circles, yet everyone lives for themselves. In contrast, Muslims genuinely cared for one another. They weren’t lost; they knew their purpose. Their answers were consistent: they believed in responsibility, not just towards themselves but towards everything around them."
🔹 Embracing Islam
Tania's journey led her to regular visits to the mosque, where she formed deeper connections, especially with Iranian Muslims. "Their logic resonated with me. One day, I realized—I, too, was a Muslim." She took the Shahada and embraced Islam wholeheartedly.
When asked about the most influential factor in her conversion, she said:
"The spiritual connection Muslims have with God, their closeness, their sense of purpose, and their religious structure—these were the key aspects that captivated me and led me to Islam."
🔹 Family and Social Challenges
Tania faced significant challenges after accepting Islam. "All my old friends abandoned me. My parents were initially shocked and strongly opposed my decision, especially my outward changes like wearing the hijab."
Arguments ensued, but eventually, her unwavering faith and improved character softened their hearts. "Now, they prefer the 'new Tania' over the old one. Though they still struggle with my hijab, they see my inner peace and respect my choice."
Surprisingly, despite losing her old friends, she never felt alone. "I became part of the global Muslim community. When I go to the mosque, I see that nationality and appearance don’t matter—faith unites us all."
🔹 The Value of Hijab
Reflecting on her earlier encounter, she now fully embraces hijab. "For a European woman, wearing hijab isn’t easy. But once you decide, God grants you strength."
She highlights the stark contrast between Western expectations and Islamic values. "Western society pressures women to be attractive and alluring. Magazines, ads, and TV shows constantly push women to conform to beauty standards. Those who don’t fit the mold suffer emotionally. Hijab rejects this superficiality. It allows women to be valued for their character, not their looks."

As for the issue of hijab, I initially wore a simple headscarf, much like what was worn in Christian traditions. However, since the Trump administration, there have been challenges in public spaces, where I’ve been labeled as "unclean" just for wearing my hijab. I believe that more people need to be educated about the beauty and wisdom behind modesty in Islam.
In the United States, particularly in major cities, there are many Muslims, especially Native Americans who have converted. However, in smaller towns, Muslims often face discrimination or misunderstanding. The most powerful thing I have learned through my conversion is that Islam brings peace, simplicity, and a sense of purpose to life. It’s a faith that calls for unity, humility, and dedication to Allah.
Women, I believe, have the most significant role in spreading the true message of Islam, as long as they represent it with clarity, strength, and grace. Despite all the challenges ahead, Islam is a beacon of light for those who seek the truth.
---
May Allah guide us all in our journey, and may we always remain steadfast in our faith. 🌙

🌷 When Imam Hussain (AS) Missed the Prophet (PBUH), He Would Look at Ali Akbar (AS) 🌷
✏️ Leader of the Revolution: As a child, Imam Hussain (AS) was deeply beloved by the Prophet (PBUH), and he, in turn, loved the Prophet immensely. When the Prophet passed away, Imam Hussain (AS) was only six or seven years old. The image of the Prophet remained an unfading memory in his heart, and his love for him never diminished.
✏️ Later, Allah blessed Imam Hussain (AS) with Ali Akbar (AS). As this young man grew, he began to resemble the Prophet (PBUH) in every way—his face, his voice, his speech, and his morals. The same nobility, generosity, and dignity that the Prophet embodied could be seen in Ali Akbar (AS).
✏️ Imam Hussain (AS) once said: “Whenever we missed the Prophet (PBUH), we would look at Ali Akbar (AS).” (17/02/1377 [1998])

"In the past, I felt scrutinized by men's gazes, each carrying expectations. Now, with hijab, I feel protected and respected. People must engage with me as a human being, not an object of desire. This sense of dignity and self-worth is priceless."
🔹 A Message to Muslims
Tania’s final message is a call for Muslims to uphold their identity with confidence.
"It was the religious conviction and self-assurance of the Muslims I met that led me to Islam. If they had been indifferent or disconnected from their faith, I might never have found my way here."
"Today, these very qualities are under attack. If Muslims lose their sense of identity and pride in their faith, Islam will face the same fate as Christianity in the West. It’s crucial that Muslims recognize and preserve their values."

"The Black-Dressed Princesses" – A Transformative Journey to Islam
A heartfelt interview with Maryam, a recent convert to Islam, who shares her incredible journey from a background of agnosticism and Christianity to embracing Islam, and eventually the Shia branch of Islam.
I am Nikita, a native American, born into an agnostic family. I grew up in a household where faith was absent, and as a young adult, I found myself at a crossroads. In my early twenties, I converted to Christianity, but struggled with the concept of the divinity of Christ, unable to reconcile how God could have a son, or how Christ, peace be upon him, could eat and drink like any other human. This confusion led me to question everything about my beliefs.
For years, I embarked on a quest to seek the truth about different religions. In 2014, after years of deep searching, I came across Islam through a Facebook group dedicated to discussing various faiths. One particular interaction with a Muslim sister, who shared with me the verse Ayat al-Kursi, answered so many of my questions. I realized that the concept of God in Islam, who does not require rest or sustenance, made much more sense to me. This marked the beginning of my spiritual transformation.
Despite my growing interest in Islam, challenges arose due to my isolation—living in a town with no nearby mosque and limited access to the internet to further explore my newfound faith. In those dark moments, I almost considered abandoning Islam, but Allah responded to my heartfelt prayers. A Shia sister sent me books and stories that reignited my faith, and I began to feel less alone in my journey.
The pivotal moment for me came when I reflected back to my childhood. I recall being only 10 or 11 years old when I first saw two women, completely covered in black abayas and niqabs, radiating a sense of grace and dignity. I couldn’t help but be drawn to them, feeling a deep sense of admiration for their presence. I remember wanting to be like them, without fully understanding why. Later, I learned that this was the first moment Islam began to resonate with me.
It was then that I felt a strong connection to the idea of modesty and the powerful spiritual serenity Islam offers. As I researched more, I discovered that Islam shared many similarities with Christianity, but it was more rational in its understanding of God. I continued my research, delving deeper into the core teachings of Islam, until I finally embraced it wholeheartedly in 2014, choosing the name Maryam for myself.
I chose Shia Islam because it provided the most profound sense of justice and equity for me. Unlike other forms of Islam, Shia teachings emphasize a simpler lifestyle, taking care of the less fortunate, and staying focused on pleasing Allah above all. Reading about the lives of the Imams, I found my heart truly at peace.
When I first prayed, I felt an overwhelming sense of gratitude and connection to Allah. Though I face challenges with migraines that sometimes make it hard to memorize, the experience of prayer fills me with a sense of tranquility.
Regarding my family and the reaction to my conversion, it has been difficult. I lost many friends, some relatives distanced themselves, and others insisted I hide my conversion. The media’s portrayal of Islam made it difficult for many to understand or accept my faith. However, I remain firm, constantly learning and growing in my faith.
Islam has taught me beautiful lessons, especially regarding patience and peace. The Quran, despite being over 1400 years old, offers answers to the questions of modern life, guiding us through every challenge we face. Among all the Quranic verses, Ayat al-Kursi resonates the most with me—it reminds me that God is self-sufficient, never tiring in His care for His creation, and that we are always in need of Him.

He was born into one of the wealthiest families in the world, yet his heart sought something beyond material wealth. 🔴 Hashem Al-Haidari, Deputy Cultural Chief of Iraq’s Popular Mobilization Forces (PMU):
"Your 22nd of Bahman march is even more important than the Arbaeen pilgrimage, despite its immense significance.
During Arbaeen, everyone participates—from British-influenced Shiites to Hojjatieh groups and others.
But on the 22nd of Bahman, only the sincere ones come."

✅ The Reality of Iranian Youth
✏️ Leader of the Revolution: Today, a misleading propaganda campaign seeks to portray the #Iranian_Youth as detached from values, hopeless about the future, and lacking a sense of responsibility.
✏️ But this image represents the truth—the exact opposite of what this propaganda suggests. Our #youth have excelled in all fields and arenas, and, God willing, they will continue to do so in the future.

🕊️ Allahu Akbar: The Core of Our Revolution
Every revolution, every movement, when condensed, leaves behind a single defining slogan. The heartbeat of Iran’s 1979 revolution was: Allahu Akbar!
God is greater.
Greater than the Imperial Guard.
Greater than the self-proclaimed King of Kings.
Greater than F-4 Phantoms and Sukhois.
Greater than American warships.
Greater than Saddam’s madness.
Greater than Merkava tanks and bunker-busting bombs.
Greater than economic sanctions.
Greater than nuclear weapons.
Greater than the temptations of exile.
Greater than America's colonies.
Greater than our own weaknesses.
Greater than all our wounds.
Allahu Akbar—a cry that strikes fear in tyrants and brings peace to the oppressed.
This is how the holiest of human revolutions took place—on the right side of history, led by the barefooted masses, shouting: Allahu Akbar!
— Salman Memar

🔴 Commander of the IRGC Navy - Brigadier General Alireza Tangsiri
💠 Hypersonic cruise missiles with a range of 2,000 to 3,500 km will be unveiled; all of these missiles are smart, AI-powered, and will be officially introduced next year.
💠 A new missile is under development that can target the Sea of Oman from the northern Persian Gulf. Our equipment has been relocated under mountains, making it invulnerable to bunker-busting weapons.
💠 The IRGC Navy no longer needs to launch cruise missiles from the shoreline, achieving this capability despite sanctions.
💠 Soon, we will unveil a fully armed, unmanned missile boat, which will be carried by the Shahid Bagheri warship.
💠 The Qaher UAV has been developed in a manned fighter version, capable of landing on the Shahid Bagheri drone carrier.
💠 Brigadier General Alireza Tangsiri shared details about the Qaher unmanned fighter jet:
🔸 60% prototype equipped with dual jet engines
🔸 Stealth & low radar visibility
🔸 Ability to carry Almas missiles and more
🔸 Extremely high speed
🔸 High-altitude flight capability
💠 The Qaher UAV will be used in IRGC Navy combat units, while the Ministry of Defense is developing its manned version—for further details, inquiries should be directed to the Ministry of Defense.
💠 The primary version of the Qaher UAV & fighter jet features jet engines, stealth technology, and weapons-carrying capability—the Iranian people can look forward to its official unveiling.
💠 We have developed naval vessels that remain operational even if hit by a missile—neither sinking nor becoming non-operational.
💠 The entire 2,200 km of Persian Gulf coastline has been armed with high-altitude strategic defense units, including 2,200 km of underground naval and missile bases.
💠 The braking system used for the Shahid Bagheri drone carrier is a global breakthrough—after the U.S. aircraft carriers, Iran is the second country in the world to develop this technology.
