Farewell to the very honorable Mr Russell Broadbent. He is, well, now was, the only decent politician in The Australian House of Representatives. 6 May 2025.
Antic, Babet, Canavan, Hanson, Rennick and Roberts in the senate, all fight for the people in their own way, but Russell stood alone in the House of Reps. Now there is no one left in that place.
He just posted his farewell message, stating; "It has been an honour serving you as the Member for Monash for the past 20 years. From the bottom of my heart."

Submissions 98 to 105 were released by the Committee for The inquiry into Communications Legislation Amendment (Combatting Mis/Disinformation) Bill 2024,
Not sure where all the personal submissions are, as all but four so far are from institutions. (mine, and a number of my friends submissions are excluded also) I have been working on a summation and overview of those For and Against the Bill. As you can imagine, many of those that are For the Bill include an Acknowledgement of country in their submission. None so far from those Against.
The majority of the institutions that are for the Bill also have an attitude of 'I'm For the Bill, but my people should be exempt from it, it should apply to everyone else but us though!'

This movie is well worth taking the time to watch with only days before the next US election.
The creator and director, Dinesh D'Souza, writes, "SORRY, FACT-CHECKERS - 77% of Likely U.S. voters who have seen “2000 Mules” say the movie strengthened their conviction that there was systematic and widespread election fraud in the 2020 election."
