We know you as one of the most popular channels about crypto. What do you do in real life besides running your channel?
🤩Kryptanets: Hey there! “About crypto” might be a bit of a stretch — most of the content is actually about Mini Apps in Telegram. Besides running the channel, I work in internet marketing (since 2017), and recently started streaming on Twitch too.
🤩Bandy: How did the name of your channel come about and how did it become popular? Was it a spontaneous decision or was there a deeper idea behind it?
🤩Kryptanets: A bit of both, actually!
About the name: I wanted something that connects to pop culture, so I started brainstorming movie titles. I remembered 300 Spartans, combined it with “crypto,” and came up with 300 Kryptanets.
The channel gained traction thanks to Telegram Mini Apps like Hamster Kombat, Catizen, and others. Right time, right place — I applied my marketing skills and built a following.
🤩Bandy: What do you think about the topic of gifts in general? Do you find it interesting or promising within the crypto space?
🤩Kryptanets: To quote Tinkov: “Cool, it’s just cool!”
I especially love giving gifts! I was giving them out before Tyler, but he definitely inspired me to give even more.
As for the potential — hard to say for now. A lot depends on Telegram, TF, and so on.
If the current number of people trading gifts doesn’t grow, we probably won’t get very far. And I doubt word-of-mouth alone will bring in a massive audience, especially outside the CIS region.
🤩Bandy: How do you personally feel about gifts? Do you collect, sell, or use them differently?
🤩Kryptanets: I’m not much of a collector — I usually buy them and give them away.
🤩Bandy: What’s your favorite gift? Are you waiting for updates or upgrades — for example, for the “Spartan Helmet”?
🤩Kryptanets: From the currently upgraded ones, I don’t have a clear favorite.
But if you asked me what I want, it’s definitely the Pepe gift!
As for updates, I’m looking forward to upgrades for the Spartan Helmet, bricks, Sailor Moon, socks, and the lightsaber.
🤩Bandy: What’s the most valuable gift you own? Any story behind it?
🤩Kryptanets: If we’re talking price, I don’t have any expensive upgraded ones — just regular gifts.
But in terms of value, the most precious ones are those from my subscribers — too many to name!
From the non-upgraded ones, I’d say Sailor Moon is probably the priciest.
🤩Bandy: Are you planning to complete a full collection of gifts, or are you more focused on rare and valuable ones?
🤩Kryptanets: I’m slowly collecting gold gifts with the Seal Brown background, but there aren’t many of them. I’m not chasing specific ones.
🤩Bandy: Have you or your followers experienced star refunds or the duping issue that Semenchuk mentioned? How did the community react?
🤩Kryptanets: Only a small portion, from what I know. People reacted with sad messages.
🤩Bandy: You used to write a lot about tap-to-earn games and Mini Apps, but now mostly focus on gifts and stickers. Does this mean the tap-to-earn trend has run its course?
🤩Kryptanets: I wouldn’t say I mostly write about gifts now — it’s a good mix.
Judging by the vibe in the community, the tap-to-earn theme has taken a backseat, but who knows what the future holds. We’ll see.
