He SAITH to every one that he is a fool

Eccl10:3 Yea also, when he that is a fool walketh by the way, his wisdom faileth him, and he saith to every one that he is a fool.

I am utterly terrified of God taking these things from me.

Come to think of it, I cannot recall if Preston even exegeted Leviticus 18:5 in that entire debate. He just quoted it then cited what other people think of it. The verse just says "live in them". Where is the indication that it is about eternal life or avoiding hell?

You can't lose your salvation. Did you guys know that?

Other translations are bad. Big surprise.

Even with the perpetual increase of sodomy, drunkenness, love of money, etc., etc., etc., I have been convinced for many years one of, if not, the most rampant sin in America is self-centeredness. The call of every believer is to die to himself and live for others, and every year that passes believers in America increasingly do the exact opposite...

Creating for themselves what Bro. Hyles called a "self-hell", in which their lives are most miserable because their focus on themselves creates a need for attention, sympathy, recognition, etc. that can never be satisfied. Much like the scriptural maxim states:

Ecclesiastes 5:10 - He that loveth silver shall not be satisfied with silver; nor he that loveth abundance with increase: this is also vanity.

And not only do they make their own lives miserable, but more importantly the lives of those around them. Always a good area to examine ourselves in:

How many of your problems do others around you know about, and how many of their problems do you know about?

How often do you feel compelled, and give in to the compulsion, to make your problems known when others are getting attention for their problems?

How often do the words, "That's like with me..." come out of your mouth when others are sharing something about themselves with you?

How often do you give your opinion, rather than your simple unaccompanied compassion, to others who are sharing their heartaches with you?

The honest answers to these types of questions reveal whether you are a self-centered person or a selfless person, and often explain why people interact with you the way they do. Trouble is, if you are living in that "self-hell", you are the one most blind to your miserable condition.

Galatians 6:2, 5 really says it all. The believer is to bear the burdens of OTHERS while bearing his OWN, not expecting his to be borne by them. The exact opposite of self-centeredness. The exact opposite of what so many believers in America do today.

I would rather be 100 billion in debt and have no arms and no legs and live on the street with no food and one to help me if it meant I get wisdom understanding and knowledge.

I'm sure everyone here has seen this but it is amazing and worth watching again. I get kind of emotional when I watch this I don't know about you guys.

I don't mean printing out a new text block with these dimensions, I mean take an already printed text block and merging more margin space to it.

Prv12:23 A prudent man concealeth knowledge: but the heart of fools proclaimeth foolishness.

Witnessed to an old man at my gym today that I've known for years. Confirmed that he's saved 100%.

This might sound insane but I haven't been able to find anyone discussing this on the internet, likely because either it is a hard thing to search for or it is completely impossible to do. But say you take apart a Bible so you only have the text block and want to modify the page dimensions. Can the margins of a piece of paper be extended? Can you turn a 16x9 piece of paper into a 20x11 piece of paper?

Prv13:16 Every prudent man dealeth with knowledge: but a fool layeth open his folly.

And for those of you wondering why I was masochistic enough to do this, I only did it because my Thomas Nelson KJV is my darling. It is the second Bible I ever owned and it was the one I molded my entire being to. I know where everything is on the page and it has all my notes and slobber in it. I tried replacing it with a CBP Bible but I felt sad, it just wasn't the same. Unless my Bible falls apart on me I will never replace it.
