A federal judge has ordered the release of Rumeysa Ozturk, a Tufts University student detained by ICE for voicing opposition to US-funded genocide in Palestine.
For weeks, protests around the country have demanded freedom for Rumeysa and all students targeted for standing on the right side of history. This is a people's victory – and we will continue to fight until Mahmoud Khalil, all of our students and Palestine are free!

On April 14 around 6:20 a.m., New York Police Department officers shot and killed 60-year-old Queens resident King Wong.
The NYPD had received 911 calls reporting that Wong was displaying signs of mental distress while holding a knife near 30th Avenue and 31st Street in Astoria.
After arriving at the intersection, NYPD officers attempted only 56 seconds of deescalation before opening fire, claiming that their tasers were ineffective and that they were “forced to defend themselves.”

Today, three former Memphis police officers were acquitted of all state charges in the fatal beating of 29 year-old father Tyre Nichols.
This verdict is part of a larger trend to roll back the gains made in response to the 2020 uprising and re-establish total impunity for cops. Just last week, Trump even issued an executive order that the Justice Department has to provide legal assistance to cops facing charges for brutality!
We'll continue to fight for justice for Tyre Nichols and an end to all racist police terror!
